I am actually a current student at Penn State, and Christian's first season was my freshman year. I'm very indifferent about the pick though. He has ALL the physical tools to be a solid QB, but is also a diva. His best year was his freshman year (in which people thought he was going to end up being a top 5 pick) but after the loss of Bill O'Brien to Houston and Allen Robinson to the draft, he didn't develop as much as some would like.
I have personally watched Hack throw some of the most beautiful deep balls I had seen, but then he will under throw a screen pass. He is definitely a project, but has the talent.
I just would like you guys to realize something: Christians time at Penn State is not the best indicator of what type of QB he is. Christian never once had a full-scholarship team with him because of the scandals. Specifically in the offensive line... over the past 3 CFB seasons, he was one of the most sacked QBs in all of college football. The team he will have in New York is much much much more talent (in all areas) then he ever had in college.
Definitely should give him a shot. He is the perfect build for a franchise QB, and is extremely loyal. He committed to PSU prior to the scandal coming out, and even after it all he stuck with the school.
FINALLY someone with a fucking brain.
Ive watched Christian ALOT. Kid can ball out if he has a great oline. Problem is currently his accuracy, but that will definetly approve with our coaching staff
