To start off, I don't think that video was all that bad. What he did was stupid but many others did worse and didn't get punished too hard. But then after all this, to find out he lied to the front office and had several altercations, really paints a bad picture.

If he was signed, i'd lose a lot of respect for Nagy and co. They're trying to build an environment of having fun and being respectable. They sign him and they lose credibility.

Also, I don't like how hypocritical some Bears fans can be. I can almost guarantee half the fans that say "sign him, he did nothing wrong" would flip shit if the Packer's talked with him.

I don’t think he should play anymore. I don’t think any of the players who did similar things should play anymore. To be clear, I’m talking about the assaults, not the lying.

I think people do deserve second chances. But I think he needs to show major improvement. As in, he himself saying he's taking time away from the NFL (a few years) to improve himself. Like how Josh Gordon did it but he's actually got to improve. Go to anger management, start advocating to stop violence, etc.

After all that, he needs to find a team that can help him rebuild himself. The Bears are not that place but another team that can.

Also he needs to stay away from his home town as I heard that's where he always gets into shit.
