Do I need a receiver? The "bundle" if you will, on best buy has all speakers and a blue ray player.. I don't need the DVD player

I'd recommend staying away from anything that includes a dvd or Blu-ray player. They tend to be shit. Get one with a receiver and plug all your a/v inputs (i.e. xbox, Blu-ray player, etc) into the receiver then send one hdmi from the receiver to the TV

I had a friend who worked there who could get stuff at-cost. PS3 back when they were new, TVs, printers, just to name some things we got.

I've always been a sucker for best buy I guess. Haven't had a problem yet when it comes to their products, with the exception of my trucks speakers. They replaced them with no problem though.
