Through seven games NE opponents have gotten first downs from penalties 33% more than NE has.

We are pretty low for total number of penalties given out, we're about in the middle for yards against from penalties and we've been called for offensive PI more than any team in the NFL this year. Got a handful of people talking about how rigged the NFL is in favor of NE (even when the commissioner clearly wants us to lose), so thought some of this was worth sharing.

Surprisingly enough, Miami is one of lowest in almost all categories for penalties this year lol.

Hard to get a penalty when you’re not playing

True that lol. I just still thought it was strange.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I assumed most teams with that level of decent throughout the franchise, would be getting sloppy and making more and more mistakes. Was just surprised that they're so rarely penalized on either side of the ball.

Who would you rather face in the Super Bowl: Saints or 49ers?

There is an element of rivalry right now between Brady and Brees competing for career stats, seeing which one will retire first. And league probably laments the fact that they almost had a Brady/Brees matchup last year but got a crap game instead.

On the other hand, it would also be a compelling story for JimmyG to have a chance to 'dethrone' Brady in the SB. Brady is the defending champ. If he loses to Jimmy and then retires, it will be the perfect narrative of Brady being literally 'dethroned'.
