Can someone explain this Josh Gordon situation, there's something not right here...

He was out at practice today, the injury doesn't seem to be IR serious, especially considering they can't bring him back from the IR because the 2nd slot coming back from IR is going to go to Isaiah Wynn. And now all the reports are that his time with the Patriots is completely over like there's no chance that they'd bring him back.

First of all... why IR him lol
Second of all... if you had to IR him, you should've left Harry on the IR because the impact he's going to be able to make is minimal as a rookie.
And lastly we have Gordon out here on Instagram with an "Interesting" comment on his IR report.

According to gordon I heard he’s ready to go now and is healthy. Seems like the patriots put him on IR and he is expecting to be released on settlement. With how thin the Pats are on WR I wonder if something more is happening behind the scenes
