Goldeneye is like the least hold up able game of all time

i bought ken griffey major league baseball the other day (had it as a kid) and the 64 controller is literally perfect for that game (C buttons work to steal bases)

the single stick with the C buttons for strafing is pretty easy.

the shittiest game for that was N64 Doom. L and R were the strafe buttons so i used to put my right hand on top of the controlled and use my right index and right pinky to strafe lol.

There were so many different ways to grip the controller too.
One of my old childhood friends would use his thumb and pointer finger and grip the joystick lol

i've used the same fossil tri-fold for a while now. probably close to 6 years. my parents got me a black joseph abboud bifold wallet a year or so ago that i have on the bench until further notice. it's nice, but i'm just used to the trifold and it's still in amazing shape.

plus, brown leather > black leather for me

goldeneye was the most fun ive ever had playing a game. Like, it was more fun than mario kart AND smash. That being said, it's atrocious to try and play it today. The game simply doesn't hold up. It will forever have a special place in my heart though, never had more fun with a video game

I use a phone case wallet, but Dash was my go-to prior to that. Think I've backed every single one of their wallets since 1.0.

I would just have nights where we would just have free for alls with 4 people and we would go ham til like 5 in the morning.
Shit was so fun.

We're not saying it wasn't great then, it just doesn't hold up today. Nostalgia plays a big role in that.

I know, me trying to play old games doesn't work.
My brain tells me the game is so nice, but my eyes just hurt when they see the obsolete graphics they ran the game on lol
