Likely releasing Shields and Starks which would free up another 10m for spending money. I also read that *IF* they released Clay (which I highly doubt happens) that would also free up another like 10m+ iirc

Read the other day that letting Sam Shields go would free up 9 million. Not sure I would agree with the decision but I can see it happening.
Why wouldn't you agree with the decision? He played one game last season (not even) and we paid him like 9m or so.. He could quite literally be one more concussion away from a mush brain. For the sake of his own health, I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire either.
