Fucking XFL is a joke. I'm somewhat excited to have a hockey team. It's a sport I've never cared for, so I'm hoping I can get into it.

Hartford has a minor league hockey team. It’s really fun to go to games, and cheap too. We just got a baseball stadium and minor league team too, the Yard Goats, a few years ago. Definitely fun to have sports in your city. They usually have some sort of beer specials too, like we have dollar dogs and two dollar brew nights.

In New Mexico I went and saw the Isotopes (minor legue Baseball) a few times and it was a blast. Cheap as hell tickets, decent price beers and like you said, there's usually some specials going on that are pretty solid. Only games I go to now are the Sounders every few months, which is a blast, but I'd kill for some variety.
