It's all fun and games until Cam tells him he doesn't have to do anything except run fade routes and he begins to excel in our system rofl

He'll be open a lot but for every big play he makes he'll drop two or three easy catches. He's had five or so years to improve and he's still the same inconsistent player he was as a rookie. You can make a case he was already playing for the Ravens.

Best way to describe him to you: He's the football version of Terrence Williams. Talented but plays like an idiot.

Nobody told me the Texans signed John Beck earlier today. I knew he'd be a Texan once the Redskins let him go (dig up that old thread).

John McClain @McClain_on_NFL
Texans agree to deal with QB John Beck.
Gary Kubiak wanted a veteran QB to go with Matt Schaub, TJ Yates and rookie Case Keenum.
Beck knows Texans system cause he played for Redskins and was coached by Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan.

I must have missed it but I'm not too surprised though. He'll compete with Case Keenum for the third-string job.

Omg.. I don't think I've ever heard a more Perfect analogy about a players incompetence.. Sad that they both had to have been from a Houston team that ended up Waiving good talent.. But didn't Durant say "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"?

Good kicker, bad punter. Doesn't have the strongest leg tho lol. He was the one that beat the Aggies with the last second kick. That said, I like Hunter Lawrence a lot better, the kicker before him, graduated in '09 tho.(Beat Nebraska in the big 12 ccg)
