was listening to 97.1 today.

they were talking about how reggie bush might be headed here if jahvid best fails another test he can't play. between that + vandon bosch + titus we'd have the money.

What test hasn't he failed so far?!?!? Why would the lions really even bother with him at this point? If he passed the test, he lasts like 4 weeks and we blew our cap on him yet again.

They were saying the nfl is giving him one more chance. If he fails his "career" in the league is over.. Don't remember which test they were talking about but I assume its whatever they give for concussions.

i know he wants to play but hes got to think about his saftey, dudes gonna get hurt lol, anyone have a rough estimate on how much monies we cut already?

Cutting Titus didn't help our cap a all... he still accounts for a 900,000 hit next season

Also I think Reggie Bush would be awesome, but I'm not positive he would be cheap. Maybe we spend a late round pick on a speed back to develop

Def think he'd be a high price, but I think it would be a good fit. He's still a great back with a couple years before his legs go. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but where I'm from in Michigan there are a lot of Reggie fans. Not much hate for bush in the D

I agree we need a speed back but I cannot see it being Reggie. Too much money and he is going to want to see more play time that he'll get. I know some people are saying that we could put him at WR as well, that way he is "always on the field"... maybe he'll be okay with that? I dunno. I just don't see the fit. We'll prob just have to pick up another back in the draft or find a cheaper speed back.

well said, we are to close to the cap atm to sign a big free agent imo. we will have to take an undrafted one or one later in the rounds
