Hard one to stomach, but not as hard as a few of the recent years have been. I hope Rodgers stays healthy and in good enough shape to be able to try and win another ring or even two. The Packers/Rodgers/etc. are catching so much shit right now, particularly from our division rivals. To be truthful, I wish our division was BETTER. We need to be challenged, and the only team to do it in our division this year was Detroit, who could've easily ended the season 8-8, or worse had a few plays gone differently. We catch so much shade, I guess maybe we deserve it. It's gotta be hard living in a division under the packers shadow for the last 15 years.
Our defense has really gotta improve. We've got so many changes we need to make, from top to bottom. Can't keep expecting one player or even half your team to be able to shoulder the weight through 19 weeks of football.
I'm sorry our injuries just kept stacking up, more and more as the season went on. We had players playing today who weren't even really healthy enough to play, much less all the guys who were getting hurt during the game. Injuries in the beginning of the season can be remedied (see our 2011 run), but this late in the season everything starts to compile.
It's probably just a bunch of excuses. I'm sad to see us go out, but only because year after year I look back at some of these seasons and see opportunities we were given slip out of our hands. It's just frustrating. Oh well, on to next season. Go Pack.
