I'm hearing that Sam Shields has been cut from the team. Kinda surprised they didn't wait til their run was over, but not surprised that he won't be playing for us anymore. Hope he's able to step away from the game and be at peace with that. Really don't want to see him get knocked out again.

I kinda think, despite their struggles, that our front office is likely comfortable moving forward with Randall and Rollins as their #1 and #2.

That said, their is a ridiculous amount of CB talent projected to the 1st and 2nd rounds this year, so it won't exactly be surprising if our BPA happens to be a defensive back, and I kinda hope that it does end up that way.

There's a lot of talent at CB, i like booker out of Ohio State....the only guy do do anything against Clemson...either way i think it's been proven time and time again you could have 10 cbs and somehow half of ours would be hurt and using safeties to suffice. Shitty thing is we need to start developing pass rushers as peppers is about to go and matthews is getting up there. i don't think anyone is really standing out for our pass rush to take the torch aside from lowry i think his name is.

Lowry and Jayrone have shown flashes but it remains to be seen if they can actually produce when given more playing time. I do like the young talent in defense, overall. But yea, Clay has been largely ineffective aside from a couple big games and Jules is likely done after this run as you mentioned... Excited for at least one more TT draft
