Anyone that says Wentz hasn't played very well in both games simply didn't watch the games, or is just being a hater (shocker).

Kid stands in the pocket and makes throws knowing he's going to get destroyed too, and can throw on the move very well.

He also stands at the line of scrimmage and reads the defense and makes calls/audibles well beyond what a rookie QB normally does, please tell me the last time you've seen a rookie QB in his first two starts have this kind of command at the line? He doesn't look scared at all, he looks like he has been in this league far more than 2 games.

The most impressive throw to me last night was the one where he was rolling out left and throws a dart across his body in between 3 guys for a 1st down.

What once was an amusing thread has become unreadable.

Nobody is saying wentz had a bad game .. Simply stating that you need to keep your dick in your pants until he starts winning against decent/good teams.. Then after he does that whip it out

Eagles are always lucky.

They had MVP Vick. Top 3 WR Maclin. Future star Kolb. Dream team, dream team 2.0, and dream team 3.0.

I'm pretty jealous.

I don't think anyone has said he didn't play well.

What everyone is saying is that you can't really all in on a qb that has torn apart 2 of the worst defenses in the league.

Yes he's shown promise. But save all your praise and glory for when he actually does something impressive, like a good game against the steelers for instance.

I wouldn't even say he tore them apart.

190 yards by today's standard is like having a 120 yard game 10 years ago.

You can't hate on his stats. They were so far ahead they were rushing the ball to manage the clock. He could have gone for a tom Brady to pad his stats but they opted to just win the game.

190 yards...

And we saw how many yards worth in dropped passes? Another 80 yards between the Matthews TD drop and Agholor drop.

Most rookie QB's would have turned it over and crumbled under the pressure that Wentz was under for much of the night. He didn't turn it over once, he didn't make stupid decisions or try to force things, and he called audible after audible reading the defenses as if he wasn't a rookie playing in his second game.

Wentz' performance is even more impressive once you take into account that he has to throw all these difficult passes while walking around with his nuts in philly fans' mouths.
