A great game for the Steelers. What a good matchup... Bengals got lucky last year. :/

Come on now they beat us both games and were better than us last season no need to say they got lucky.

We had a beastly team last year.
Mendy had like 1100+ rushing yards.
Big Ben had like 26 passing TD's.
Just because we had that bad 5 game streak, doesn't mean we were bad at all.



My bad... I keep going back to '07 with the TDs. :/

Our defense was a joke last year without Aaron Smith and Troy Polamalu. Ben and Mendy aren't the entire team and stats don't matter too much when you don't make the playoffs.

I know they're not...
Our receivers were all nearly 1k receivers too.
Holmes had 1k(RIP), Mike Wallace had like 750, Ward had 1k, and Heath had like 750.
We're stacked on both sides of the ball.

We do sorta rely too much on TP43 to do 2 jobs on D.
No one had faith at all when he was out.

Yeah we got a lot of talent but Ben hangs onto the ball too long a lot of the times and other times the line just collapses. Offensively I'm not worried at all though but the defense without Aaron Smith is very scary. They won't put Aaron on IR because they are praying to God that he can somehow play if we make the playoffs.

That's smart to hold off on Smith. Too bad we couldn't have picked up Suh or somethin'. Haha.

Ben is just shaking off some rust still. I'm just glad he's not forcing the play and getting picks... despite the last series he threw a pick on :/

Yeah I hear ya but he had to try and get something going. We weren't going to win anyways down 10 at that point. The good thing is we beat ourselves and didn't play that great but still were in the game until the final minutes. It's good because we can fix the problems and be better than we were before we played them. They did a great job capitalizing on our miscues. That was easily our worst game of the year and like I said we were in it til the final minutes on the road at New Orleans when they were in a must win situation.

Yeah, they did such a phenomenal job on capitalizing... so great that I started ripping decorations down at my house. I was so heated after that fumble.
I would have killed a man if he said Steelers sucked to me that night.
On the brightside, I'm looking forward to see what the Steelers do next week, coming off of a bad display like that.

Sanders had a rookie mistake and Miller had a mistake.
Those were the only 2 things that really hurt us bad though, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

True, Miller's fumble and Sanders trying to catch the ball intended for Ward were the only huge mistakes but there was a bunch of small things throughout the game we did wrong. I can't remember them exactly but I remember being annoyed. Outside of that TD run Mendy didn't do shit. Either way hopefully they correct it for tonight because this is the Bengals last chance to turn their season around. They lose tonight and they have a very slim chance at making the playoffs but if they win they might be able to turn it around. Throw the records out for this one.
