There was an easy solution.

They played three games on Saturday but only two on Sunday. All games should be played on Saturday and Sunday. Screw this Monday shit

I didn’t pay much attention to that tbh. Went back to work yesterday.
They did what, 1/4:30/8:15 saturday, really don’t make much sense does it?

Yupp exactly. Should have had the same time slots for Sunday.

To be fair though, playing Sunday then Saturday is the same as playing Sunday then Monday though. I think it’s still fair, you’re just seeing it as unfair, maybe one team got a break but you can’t give all 12 teams a break.

But yes, I think they should have made the game on Saturday or Sunday and it shouldn’t have been an issue running 2 games at the same time either. I thunk most fans have multiple tvs or ways to watch 2 games at on e anyways.

They also could just move the Dallas VS San Fran to Monday night lol

I don't care about teams have more rest. I care about teams playing a playoff game on short rest.

Not sure who else to blame but the NFL. With it being the first week of the playoffs, you really only have a couple of options.

In the future they could push the playoffs back a week but I think 2 weeks off for a 1st rd bye would be way too long.

The only other option is to play an early game but this all comes back to money and the NFL doesn’t make enough money to plan all of this out ahead of time!

They 150% make enough money, they just think they need more. Not to mention the schedulers are lacking in a few brain cells, so i would imagine that played a part too.

That was clear sarcasm 😆
They should have just double’d up a time slot or played 1:00, 4:25, 8:15 again on Sunday with the west coast game (SF/Seattle) being the later game.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal tbh. Monday night to Sunday night is not really a short week in terms of the NFL. That’s more commonly used when you play on Sunday and then again on Thursday.

The Giants are in the same position too. Having to play Sunday afternoon and then again on Saturday.
