I know it's cringe, but the question still remains because the only actual responses to "what do you like about football?" were met with exactly what I described...which was people stating how much of the game they don't like.

Football & basketball are the 2 sports I mostly follow anymore.

lifelong Texas fan here... i hate em they're just so disappointing every f**king year (lsu last year, bama this year, always ALWAYS lose to some doinky school like tech or kstate) and other schools really rustle their jimmies about hating us; we give them so much ammo. also a Lions fan they are my favorite team bc they do even the slightest thing correct and i love it - absolutely zero expectations
