Germany had 4 of 6 teams at the end of NFL Europe IIRC.

I would rate foreign market interest as:

1.) Germany
2.) Mexico
3.) Canada
4.) UK

Honestly the response to the German game has me thinking they need priority for a foreign franchise. How awesome would it be if football was a worldwide sport?

I dont think a german based (or as others previously said pretty much any overseas based) franchise would work in the nfl
but europe is already building a semi-pro league again with the ELF (european league of football), that was founded just two seasons ago and from season 1 to 2 it already upgraded from 8 to 12 teams and will upgrade again to 18 teams for season 3

of course, that new pro league is nothing compared to the nfl and teams would probably even struggle against div1 college teams, but as of now theres still alot less money involved compared to div1 college, probably even alot less than div2 (total salary cap per team is currently ~150k € )

I don't know about an EU league, but continuing to bring teams over to play Reg season games is great and should continue to expand

My coworker was in Munich for business over the weekend. He looked at ticket prices thinking he might go for the hell of it. Something like $500 for the cheapest ticket.

If that continues to be the case, there will definitely be more NFL games in EU.

It all depends if the fan can buy from nfl directly before the ticket touts get the tickets - the packers game sold out within 4hrs, and immediately were available on other sites at well over double the price - should be 110 per ticket and was like 230-700

the ticket sale was announced and we thought we're getting sufficient for ourselves + friends, so we queued exactly when the sale was opening with different devices and were queued at position 200k+ (gf + myself on different devices). With ppl being allowed to buy up to 6 tickets of course we were not lucky getting one - nfl shop price started something like 80 up to 200 EUR or so.

reseller prices were like 1k++ EUR per ticket, the hype was crazy.

we got "lucky" that 2 friends were on sick leave and gave us their tickets... thats something definitely need to be improved... less tickets + personalizing them

We literally had to go on ebay, start price £1 and we got 2 for £650

Worth it, but obviously it was risky - but I knew we had credit card protection and ebayer buyer protex too
