Lions got a good deal too, wasn't it his contract year?

He is on yr 4 of his 5 year rookie contract. Next year he’s owed 9m and is a FA in 2024 where he will most likely get paid.

So lions foresaw him wanting to be paid and decided it would be best now. I agree though lions got good value for him.

Vikings needed more receiving options as theilen is getting old and JJ is basically forced the ball so this will open up the middle of the field.

lmao, we'll see. heard he was a bad blocker so he can just catch. He's what we wanted Irv to be.

I heard the opposite that he was actually a really stout run blocker. Idk about pass pro but we didn't use irv for pass protection much
