But buzzin, you think he's worth it?

Gotta hope so. Couldn't really get any worse. We were playing guys like Tavon Austin and Laquon Treadwell for the majority of the season last year. The WR room needs an overhaul. Sounds like we're going to be signing WR Zay Jones as well.

I'd still draft 2 more WRs in this draft. One in the 2nd, or 3rd round and another developmental guy with one of our 6th round picks (we have 4 of them). This is a deep WR class so it'd be stupid not to take a shot on a couple.

DJ Chark, Marvin Jones and Shenault wasn't a bad receiving corps. Obviously DJ getting hurt after a few weeks hurt y'all big time but idk.. throwing WR1 $$ at Kirk and signing Zay Jones to a 3/30 and Evan Engram to 1/9 hardly seems like a better approach lol.

I think it woulda made more sense to target WR in the draft rather than in FA but I'm sure you guys will still draft a couple like you said.

DJ got hurt on the 2nd play in week 4, he was basically gone all season. Shenault regressed massively and couldn't catch anything. He dropped so many passes this year. It was really bad, but I think that had a lot to do with the trash WR coach Urban brought in and of course the trash environment in the building as a whole. Place was toxic because of Urban.

Chark is a Free Agent and is going else where.

Our only TEs are Dan Arnold who's coming off an injury and Chris Manhertz who's mainly just a blocking TE. They need talent and speed at the TE position and that's what Engram brings. It's a 1 year deal low risk, possible high reward contract. Nothing wrong with it.

Nobody really understands the Jones deal 3yr/$24m, but hes got some speed and this Offense lacked speed. He'll play on Special Teams as well.

I don't think they're done at WR or TE. Pick #33 is likely in play for a WR. We got multiple 5th/6th/7th round picks that we could possibly swing with the #33 pick to jump back into the 1st round for one. Draft another TE as well.

We have 4 draft picks in the top 70 and 12 total picks this year. You can't fix it all in one off season.

It's essentially a 2 year deal that they can get out of if need be. Only $37m guaranteed and that's really all that matters. Plus it's Free Agency so you're always going to overpay a little anyways.

Have to get Trevor help and he's a young productive WR. He's only 25 and this contract is probably more based on future potential that his best play is still to come (hopefully).

This one has to be the worst signing I’ve seen in awhile. Lucky it’s only a 2yr deal but then you also eat a 10m dead cap in the 3rd year for no reason.

Man I am scared what Justin Jefferson’s contract is going to be after next season or the following

I like Kirk and think he can be productive with more opportunities, but that contract was 30 mil overpay.

I bought way to many Tavon Contender Autos back in the day. woof

And as for the Jags, I dont know. If you think Lawrence is Legit, this isnt the worst deal. In 4 Years he might be the 10th highest paid or 15th highest paid WR and it wont be horrible. This and if they sign Zay and with Engram they could be building an offense. A WR in the draft or two for depth, you have Travis Ent coming back if you think he is a play maker.

Still have 3 picks in the Top 65. Potentially move that #1 if a team is desperate and maybe add another Second, Third and move back but stay top 10. Can address OL Needs and Def with those picks.

If Lawrence is legit, they should be able to turn around with a younger core. I just dont see it. But I think Fields is overrated in Chicago and woulda kept the picks and Biscuit

Or he continues to get better and in 3 years him making 14.5m looks like a steal because a dozen more WRs have reset the market.

He is the youngest WR in FA and has been productive. He'll be the safety net Trevor badly needs. Hes got great hands and drops killed us this past season. Of course they had to overpay, that's the nature of FA.

Still need to get that true #1 though and I think that can be found in this draft. Really deep WR class.
