Does 'WC winner' mean the team that made the playoffs by earning a wild card? Or teams that won a game during 'wild card weekend' (first weak of the playoffs)?

Sorry, I meant teams that are awarded a WC berth for their regular-season play. Good question.

so, to be clear:

Quote
WC Winners: 1% of pot
Non-SB playoff teams: 250fg (courtesy of Ianarky)

teams that earn a wildcard spot get paid out twice, 1% + 250?

also:

Auction History
2016 Auction Thread
Total Pot: 52,566
SB Winner: Patriots sold for 6,600; won 34,167 (1:5.17 odds)
SB Loser: Panthers sold for 5,000; won 13,141 (1:2.62 odds)
#1 Pick: Browns sold for 1,200; won 5,256 (1:4.38 odds)

Panthers were not the SB loser last year. Was it the Panthers or Falcons who went for 5k last time?

That is correct. 1% is from the pot. 250 is from Ianarky donating 2500 to be split among the 10 playoff teams to not make the SB

It was a typo. Falcons won the 2nd place price. I just forgot to cut out the Panthers' name when copy/pasting the text below.

I apologize in advance for being ridiculous with petty questions, just want to get one last thing clarified:

If a team earns a wildcard spot, then makes it to the superbowl and loses, they would get paid out 26%?

Proint just donated 2500 to the pot for the non-SB playoff teams, so that makes for 500 total for just making the playoffs (but not the SB). This adds to the amount already donated by Ianarky.

8/6/2017, 3:31:50 AM Sent -2,500.00 (6,535.00 -> 4,035.00) to Mangina (11,841.31 -> 14,341.31) Ianarky's donation to the SB pot
8/7/2017, 11:42:08 PM Sent -2,500.00 (6,525.00 -> 4,025.00) to Mangina (14,446.31 -> 16,946.30) Proint's donation to the SB pot

Updated and clarified payouts:

• SB Winner: 65% of pot
• SB Loser: 25% of pot
• WC berth Winners: 1% of pot each (4% total)
• Non-SB playoff teams: 500fg each (courtesy of Ianarky and Proint)
• #1 Overall Pick: 6% of pot (if it's a traded pick, it goes to the original team who owned the pick)

Sure. The two prizes are not mutually exclusive.

Once the four WC teams are determined, I don't see why they can't be paid out right after the reg. season ends, same as the #1 overall pick winner. And then, if a WC team goes on to play in or win the SB, they would win that prize too.

How many bidders are going to just read the first post and not see this? How late are you going to accept things that change the average value of winning a team? 2 teams bidding has completed, then the terms change?

Nothing changed, he just clarified everything. Only the donated portion changed.
