CB first round pls. Kendricks would be tempting but idk. GB enjoys striking out in early rounds for defense.

pls no Ahmad Carroll :(

I'm on board with you on many of these. Here are a few that stand out to me though.
vikings- would be foolish to grab parker while they have wallace, patterson, johnson, and wright. The upgrade would be minimal compared to the upgrade at other positions. I think they grab Waynes here.

Panthers- I think that if one of the top receivers is still on board, they need to grab him. Kelvin Benjamin can't do it all alone. Him and Olsen are the only panthers worth covering. They need to give defenses a reason to not double these guys.

Saints: I agree that funchess is a risk, but I wouldn't hate the pick. He's a poor man's graham in that system. They just got rid of half of brees' weapons , so it wouldn't be a bad idea to try to replace some. if there's a solid defensive piece here, they should probably go that route instead though.

Steelers - as a fan, I'm so tired of their corner problems that they continuously fail to fix. I couldn't blame then for gambling on Gregory if he falls to them , but with the corners that are likely to be available here, I'd love to see them finally pull the trigger on one.

Great. Until it went the same as previous years and the DT we draft there gets injured and ends up a bust. ILB is the biggest need, CB is a close to distant second depending on how you feel about Hayward's ability to be a starter instead of the slot corner.

vouch. CB/ILB in 1/2 would be ideal. NT in the 4-6 range. i don't trust ted to draft a decent one higher than that.

ILB would be good if any are available at that point, allow Matthews to stop having to worry about playing all 4 LB positions.

Letroy Guion and Raji were signed once more. The need isn't there. However, Davon House and Monica Tramon Williams are gone. Kendricks and a couple others would be nice to solidify the ILB spot, but the value is not there. CB is the way to go imo

That happened much more in the nickel than base. It should continue the way it was used, since it just allows him to rush the pass from different spots and change how the offense sets their blocking. It's only a problem if he has to play there regularly and worry about the run.

For some of the playoffs (can't remember if it started vs SEA or before that) he had to switch over to MLB a lot of the snaps. I originally threw out DT because of concerns about run defense and the potential lack of good ILBs available when you pick.

Depends on how far CBs/ILBs drop, there are a few solid ILBs worth a late 1st but there are also a lot of teams with ILB needs.

It transitioned into that later, since they saw how much better the defense played when he was there. He had something like 9 of his 11 sacks after switching over and the defense averaged around 40 less rush yards. It's not ideal, but he's good enough to make it work if they can't get good play from the guys on the roster.
