oh, you mean college algebra (equivalent to the math classes i took at 14) is too hard to work into your schedule?

rocks for jocks (earth and atmospheric sciences at GT) is too hard for you to manage on your own?

having 2-4 individual tutors that not only help you study for tests, but more often than not attend classes with/for you is too hard?

lick my sack sherman, college athletes take the most bullshit degrees out there. this whole argument is a joke

it amazes me the power that athletes have over weak minded people

you convince yourself that you love the seahawks, ergo you then believe and agree with anything their players say

you should feel bad

Pointing out that they take bullshiit majors is a statement that actually supports Sherman's message. The school designs these majors for athletes specifically because they expect all their time to be devoted to sports.

um, no, they don't make up degrees for them. they offer them a free degree that they think they might have a chance at obtaining

that argument basically says how lucky those athletes are to attend that school. they take the easiest degrees out there and still struggle with them

I'm not really sure what you are trying to say here.

Many major athletic programs have majors designed for their 'academically challenged' athletes to be enrolled in. The professors for these classes have a heads up about what's going on. There are usually 'tutors' that make sure the athlete passes. The higher ups at the university are well aware of this, in fact they are the ones who put it in place.

The whole design of this system is to make sure that devotion to athletics isn't compromised by any academic distraction. The athletes coming in understand they are expected to focus on sports.

but they don't create degrees solely for them (unless you're UNC)

most of them just take the easiest major on campus, at GT it was management, for most colleges it's communications

So GT "the best school in the world" has some of the easiest classes a 14 yr old can pass? That just punches a lot of holes in your shit spewing.. I hope your ass doesn't get too jealous of your mouth or you might have issues, because you talk a ton of shit.
