I'd have no problem with Duke Johnson. Dudes a beast.

Irony about that pick is, Storm actually started his college playing career behind Duke Johnson at Miami as a true freshmen. He only had like 10 carries for 120 yards in 10 games before he transfered to UCF.

As for the 1st pick. There's only two options. Hold it for ransom and try to get as much as possible for it (the dream of just about every team with the #1 pick), or take Shane Ray.

With all the youth on this team, the one thing we don't have is a young stud pass rusher. Ray would fit our LEO perfect.

OK, I thought I remember seeing you said you liked Williams more. Either way, put Ray, Gregory and Williams in any order to Jacksonville, Oakland and Tennessee in this mock and it all plays out the same lol.

There's more OL talent in this draft than corner talent. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of corner talent but where you were at with the options available in the first, this was the best way to get bpa and need.

Williams isn't a LEO for us. He's just too big and isn't quick twitched around the edge. I could see him in a role as our big end (LDE), and/or maybe as our 1 Tech DT. Red Bryant and Roy Miller currently fill those roles and have played well. I don't see us drafting a guy that high to be our 5 Tech big end, or our 1 Tech DT.

At the LEO we have Clemons, Branch, Ryan Davis and Chris Smith. Clemons will be in his 12 season next year, Branch his 4th, Davis his 3rd and Smith his 2nd.

Branch is a 2nd round pick, Davis an UDFA, Smith a 5th round pick.

We don't NEED a HB

How could you say Jonas gray is a 1 game wonder when he's only played 1 game with us?

Because he has only been a wonder in 1 game.

I wasn't saying Williams would play the LEO, I just meant that between the 3 teams, each of them could utilize each of the top 3 DL pieces so I wouldn't be surprised with them going in any order to any of the 3 teams.

Having 5 average, inconsistent, stone handed, injury prone running backs doesn't mean you don't need a running back. It just means you have a shit ton of guys who are wasting space.

I know and never said you did. I was just speaking on where Williams would most likely play in our scheme.

I'd rather see us go after one of the more pure pass rushers in Ray or Gregory. We already have multiple players that would fill the role Williams would play. Alualu, Ziggy Hood, Abry Jones all back up Bryant and Miller. Jones stays on the inside, but Alualu and Hood play all along the line. They usually come in when it's a more run based front, but they do get a chance to rush the QB.

I'm not saying Williams wouldn't be a good increase in talent along the D-Line. I just don't think we should draft that kind of player that high. If he isn't a stud edge rusher, or a stud 3 Tech (which we already have one in Sen'Derrick Marks) I don't really want him in the top 5. I'll take Ray #1 overall all day.

Nope.

And unless he suffers an injury soon, Malcom Brown will be a top 15 pick.
