Idk.. I am iffy on Clowney; Khalil Mack impressed me at the combine, and I would almost be content with him just as easily.

Ah... I would love to see it but you have the bears taking all four defensive players... I just dont think it will happen. Would love it but just seems iffy

Other than maybe a mid round QB, who would they take for offense? Backup rb? Te? Ol pieces? They have a solid enough offense to where whatever holes they have, they can fill then with some fa guys, late rounders and udfa. Their defense on the other hands needs work, so getting some young top talent is a must.

I feel like you didn't adjust the value too well for some of these guys.

Moses is probably a 2nd round pick after having an unimpressive combine (although his measurables were good)

Joyner ran a 4.55 40, which puts him at safety imo, considering he's 5'8

Allen Robinson was just awful, he'll be a 3rd rounder.

Jordan Matthews is now a late 1st/early 2nd

Smallwood had a bad combine, he's probably a late 3rd/4th

Keith McGill probably put himself in the high 3rd/low 2nd round, ahead of Jean-Baptiste

SuaFilo is now firmly > Yankey

And now I re-read it and see you only adjusted the top 10 lol.

I completely agree. I just dont see them being that smart about it.

I cant think of a huge need on offense other than a backup QB.

This draft makes a lot more sense to me, with the Rams taking Watkins. If they really think Bradford is the guy, they need to get him some weapons, and Watkins looks to be one of those options.

I understand why you have Matthews for the Raiders, but how likely do you think it is that we pass up Robinson for Matthews (if we do pick an OT)? He rocked the combine, and for an organization with a history of picking athletically gifted raw talent (especially with regards to the 40 time), I would expect Robinson to be the selection if we were to take the first OT available. But Matthews also makes sense in that we don't really have time to develop someone like Robinson; we need a player that can start right off the bat, and Matthews is that guy.
/e

Also, like the way everything fell to us nicely. Strong CB in the 2nd, and then Carey, who was surprisingly bigger than I thought he would be after watching that one highlight reel.

I don't think we'll pass on Eric Ebron if he's there when we pick #17

I dislike when talented players don't reach their full potential because of a lacking work ethic, but that doesn't mean they won't show up and dominate on gameday.  There is no player in the draft as talented as Clowney, and that has to be deserving of a number one pick.  Regardless of what other needs a team has, unless you're absolutely STACKED on the defensive line, I don't believe there's any way you can pass on a guy that can easily have a HoF career.

He could be the best ever if he wants to be. However the question is, does he want to be?

... Ah... I was pretty suprised he ran a 4.5 40 at 6'6" 265lbs... He also lost a good amount of weight(10lbs or so) which makes me feel like hes trying a little harder

Then you must of not known much at all about Clowney. It's well known he is a freak and was going to run fast. He ran what, a 4.53? I figured he'd run in the 4.5s and be around 6'5 260 (6'5 and 1/8, 266) range. We all knew he'd jump out of the building and he did. All he did was prove what most of us already knew.

Just depends on how he interviewed which none of us public will ever know. If he did well I don't see him getting past 5 literally 0% chance. So the Combine did more for him than just his stats, was also his interviews

Oh no you're completely right, I didn't adjust value worth a shit, even in the top 10. What I was saying was I played around with how the top 10 went, I haven't changed value much yet, this was just a quickly thrown together mock like I said, not one to take much value in atm.
