You are pretty sold on Houston taking Manziel. I think you have had that in every mock so far

Why is it you are so confident?

Is there buzz in Texas that Houston would take him?

Gary Kubiak is a Texas A&M homer with a lot of ties to that school both as a quarterback and running backs coach. He drafted Randy Bullock a few years ago instead of Legatron, Greg Zuerlein, just because he went to Texas A&M. I could definitely see them drafting Johnny Manziel in round one if they feel Case Keenum isn't the answer.

It's a huge advantage to see Case Keenum playing right now so that they can decide what to do in the off-season. Even if Keenum proves he can become a long-time starter, we're likely to release or trade both Schaub and Yates in the off-season, so we'll be in the market for two new quarterbacks. I suspect the Texans will draft a quarterback in the first, second, third or fourth round because it's a deep draft for quarterbacks.

They have a big need at inside linebacker, nose tackle and right tackle as well. I could see them going in that direction in the early rounds as well.

I think by the end of the year, Kyle Fuller could raise his stock and potentially go in the first or second. That kid is full of raw talent.

22. San Diego (4-3) – C.J. Mosley, LB, Alabama

This is the guy we may end up with in the first round. I'm sold on him after watching the last four Alabama games.

Ok that brings my next question.... What's the buzz on Kubiak in Texas? Cause I keep hearing he will probably lose his job

It's possible but I don't think owner Bob McNair has the guts to fire him. He could have fired him after the 6-10 finish in 2010 but said back then that changing a coaching staff would set the team back a few years. This is now Kubiak's 8th season as head coach. At this point, as crazy as it may seem, I believe he's one of the few head coaches in the NFL that has job security. Along with Marvin Lewis from the Bengals. And neither has had much playoff success. You can make a case that Kubiak beat Lewis two times in the wild-card game so he's done a better job. LOL

Yeh I don't get how a team that went 12-4 last season and won playoff games 2 years in a row would fire their HC after a possibly bad season.
