I must say I am a huge mariota fan, and I am hoping the Vikings pull out with the number 1 or 2 pick ( I really doubt we get more than two wins this season) But if Hundley comes out I would be pissed if the vikings drafted him...sorry I am not a fan of this overrated QB. From what I have seen highlight wise his arm strength that everyone claims is "Amazing" is far less than amazing as his passes mainly wobble or are underthrown on the deep pass. Receivers have to make pays on the ball almost on all down the field passes I don't think I have seen any of his passes hit receivers in stride. Watching him against stanford he looked downright awful which what I previously stated became more apparent as you could see with inaccuracy and he tossed 2 picks to go along with it. 40 passes and only 190 yards produced just doesn't cut it. Only reason his stats are hyper inflated are because he normally has 40 passes a game.

Mariota is the real deal though amazing accuracy extremely fast Mariota will show who the real QB is this Saturday

Done with my review for the day B)

Loving us upgrading the d-line. Position is far too thin still and it's become even more apparent the last couple weeks. Liking the OL pick in the third as well.

I'm LOVING our receiving core atm - kind of curious what we'll do, if anything, to upgrade our safeties...plus, management in talking about trading Murray. With how dispensable RBs are these days, I hope we don't give up much for one. In my dreams, we'd work out a trade with SF for lattimore once he's healthy.

Barr has jumped Clowney?

Is that because of Clowneys lack of production or is Barr just that good?

It's because Barr is going to be that damn good. The guy was a H-Back for his first 2 years at UCLA. Last year they moved him to LB. A brand new position and his first year ever playing Defense. What does he go on to do? He only puts up 60 solo tackles (82 if you want to count assisted as well), 13.5 sacks (which led the Nation last year) and 21.5 tackles for loss.

He's big and fast. 6'4, 250 and ran a 4.47 40 earlier this spring during the UCLA timing day. 4.47 is .13 seconds faster then what Dion Jordan ran at the combine and it would have tied for the fastest among his position group at this past combine.

Barr is so raw at his position and already so good that there really isn't a ceiling for the guy. He's still just trying to learn the position and he's already that good.. If he gets with the right coaching, the guy could be incredible.

What also may make him go over Clowney, is Barr can drop into coverage as well. He has covered RBs and TEs for UCLA. As well as being a force in the run game and as a pass rusher. Hes also lined up as a DE and I've seen him on the inside a few times as well. Clowney is the type of guy who you line up and he just goes forward. Barr can play ALL over the field and with how the league has turned into a passing league. That only helps his case even more.

Gus can try and go with a read option type QB, but at the end of the day it's Caldwell's decision.

Right now its Bridgewater or Barr for me. Both huge needs, both great fits.

I think Mariota and Hundley should both go back for one more year.

First and foremost, atta boy on Barr > Clowney. :) And I agree, I think both need to go back for a year but I have a feeling one will come out.

We're dying for some inside linebackers right now. C.J. Mosley would be an excellent choice for us.  Still think we'll end up picking in the 9-to-15 range. We're about to win some games and go on a roll pretty soon. Still have the Raiders, Cardinals, Jaguars twice coming up. Four games that I'll be shocked if we lose. Worst case scenario we'll go 6-10 this season.

Sweet, now I know I can bet big on the Cardinals vs your guys.

It's not that I'm coming around, it's that I didn't and don't think he should declare.

I was looking for secondary players for you guys too but none of them were better value picks compared to the players that you took. Got to go value and need, not just need.

Clowney is overrated. I've said it for awhile now. He's good don't get me wrong, but he's got a lot of work to do, mostly in his maturity imo.

Hundley or Mariota and why not? I can sit here and say I don't believe the Raiders' colors are black and silver but that doesn't make it true lol.

Explain to me why not? Why wouldn't you take not only the best player available but a player who is versatile and fills a need?
