Dumervil is 100x better than any of those other LB's they lost. Their pass rush will be much better than last year. Lewis and Reed were not pass rushers. Their secondary might take a hit, but a better pass rush evens it out.

How many defenses can say they have a Suggs, Ngata and Dumervil?

Not many.

Only one, unless they've cloned themselves.

Pass rush improves but big-play potential goes down with the loss of Reed. Bigger concern IMO is the loss of Boldin. Their offense was not what I would call reliable--they were entirely dependent on big plays to score and struggled to sustain long drives. Boldin was one of the few dependable targets for third down plays. Look for their offense to potentially falter big through the early-mid season.

Reed had only 4 ints last year, can't tackle, and is around the ball a lot less in his old age.

They also lost 3 LB's and 3 secondary players as well.

It's amazing how much people still overrate Reed and Ray.

Lewis was a run stopper at the end of his career, he didn't have the speed to stick with people in coverage. Reed still has plenty in the tank.
