But Woodson is a seasoned vet who is beloved by the Raider nation.
Our fanbase is unlike any in the NFL... (obviously) and TRUE Raiders listen to the fans.
When the fans called for Woodson to get his number back, Porter should have agreed to either give it, or give it in return for a donation to a charity or something.
I understand that Woodson has been around for quite awhile, but Porter is what in his 6th or 7th year? It's not like he just entered the league a week ago. He has put in his dues as well.
I agree 100% on the charity part. That's how most of those deals go. "Here you can have my number, but make out a $4,000 dollar check to this charity". Is exactly how it should have been handled and hopefully still will.
