The Cowboys lost $10 million for overloading contracts during the uncapped 2010 season despite league warnings about such maneuvering. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones compared the dynamics of the salary cap with using a credit card.

"The way you work around the salary cap is you kind of use the credit card to spend money that you won't be spending in the future," Jones said Tuesday at the owners meeting. "So it caused us to do more credit card spending in the future."

Worst owner in the league by far, my god. And the man refuses to give up these football decisions to a GM so it's like he's toying with a fantasy football team or a Madden Team rofl.

He won a few Super Bowls with his free agency team before the NFL implemented a lot of restrictions on that, and since then he's just been down right terrible. Clearly he needs to change something in the front office because nothing has worked in a REALLY long time, 1 playoff win in like 12+ years? For a team that talks about being "all in" and tries hard to put together a Super Bowl contender every year they've just been sad.

Our front office can be total jews sometimes (besides last off-season when they went ham on free agency), but at least we know they think things through and make solid football decisions for the most part not just made by 1 old man who really is off his rocker lol.

Dallas could cut Romo, tank for Manziel, and fix their cap woes all in one season

Sign Romo to 2 year contract, THEN tank when manziel is able to declare.
