I mean…I don’t want to be stereotypical but most homeless people are more than likely homeless because of drugs & alcohol. So you’re not helping by giving them alcohol. If you’re gonna give anything to them it should be food.

Squid Games season 2 had a really interesting scene about this. The recruiter offered homeless people a package of sweet bread or a scratch off lottery ticket and most people picked the scratch off

I mean even if you give them food you're just giving them the sustenance they need to beg for booze and dope money for another day.

Only thing you could give them that'd really help would be a job, and I'm sure most of them would fuck that up anyway.
