hey come on man. accusing the league of prioritizing the reputations of marketable athletes over the sanctity of the game. that's just plain wrong.
there's no way the NFL would actively protect the players and the coach that advertise for NFL sponsors and affiliates such as Pepsi, subway, state farm, t-mobile, pfizer, directTV, campbells soup, NFL network, snickers, oakley, cheerios, head & shoulders shampoo, Lowes....
also, they would totally not protect the goof that's dating the pop megastar that just happens to appeal to every demographic that the NFL doesn't already own.
