juicy

I rate it..

Mahomes
Allen
Hurts
Burrow
Herbert
Jackson

You think Lawrence has proven himself better than Herbert or Lamar? No, he flashed down the stretch last year, and I am excited to see what he does with Ridley, but Herbert already did it in his rookie year. Lawrence has to prove it first. And Bro, who did Fields have to throw to lol. A hurt Darnell Mooney, Cole Kmet ...? 1 more year in the league, a top 24 wr in DJ Moore, Fields has what he needs to have a big improvement. They said the same thing about Josh Allen, LJ8, and Jalen Hurts, Guy is a RB, Guy can't throw - yeah well look at that. You have a weapon that threatens the defense as an elite rusher every play, has the ability to scramble and turn broken plays into easy yardage, and can push the ball. Look for Lamar to take a big step forward too this year, he has by far the best WR room of his career and a healhty Mark Andrews. ^Terps you should be excited.
I could run block you out of your county.

Lawrence was arguably the best QB in the NFL from week 9 and beyond last season. His numbers and play were at the very top of the league. He did a lot more than just flash.

You're saying Herbert showed it in his rookie year? His rookie year was his best year to date, he has declined since then lol, even with the weapons he has had. Granted injuries to his WRs didn't help, but your rookie season shouldn't be your best at this point in time.

You're the one who called Fields an alien.. If he was an alien, he'd instantly make everybody better around him, no matter who was on the field and he didn't. Now you're saying his lack of numbers is because of the people around him? A good QB is suppose to make everybody around him better regardless.

Speaking of no weapons, which is also funny, because a year ago everybody was laughing at the Jags skill group. Marvin Jones.. Zay Jones.. Evan Engram.. "Overpaid" for an average at best (which is still hilarious) Christian Kirk etc etc. Now it's the complete opposite, we're suddenly stacked on Offense, yet all we did was swap Marv for Ridley (who hasn't played football in 2 years). And don't get me wrong, I think this Offense is stacked now, we got so many weapons that this Offense could be insane this season. It's just funny how the narrative constantly changes to fit said opinion.

And as I said in my previous post, I think Fields will develop into a very solid QB in this league, but as to the original point, to rank him as a better QB than Lawrence right now is flat out idiotic.

And as far as Lamar goes, I've been on his side. Hes carried that Ravens team for the majority that hes been there. That Defense has given up more points when they had the lead of any team in the NFL.

Hurts has had arguably the best roster in football around him. That Offense has been completely stacked from top to bottom.

As far as your QB list goes, there's no shot that Hurts is above Burrow and as good as Allen is, he isn't above Burrow either imo. It's Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and then you can mix and match from there. I put Lawrence at #4 behind those 3 right now and I have no doubt he'll prove it for the naysayers this season.

Bro I already said I like Fields, but 2/3s of those throws were to guys in wide open space lol. Pretty much none of the throws in that video were all that impressive at all.

That's part of being an ALIEN though, defenders get sucked up when he rolls because they have to defend the scramble and you get completely busted coverages. :P

Yet he only averaged 140 passing yards per game.

Improved offensive line, improved receiving room. Can he do better? He should - and if he gets that much better as a player he will be very good.

I like TLaw this year too, Ridely is no small addition and Kirk outperformed expectations last year IMO, so did Zay Jones, so that accounts for the swing in sentiment about the WR room. There's a few teams wiith two very high rated WR, Dolphins, Eagles, Bengals. Worth mentioning Tampa, SF, Cowboys. In terms of teams with the best trio Jags are on the list. #1 Trio has to be Seattle, And you could argue for Bengals, Jags, or Chargers for the next 3 spots in any order IMO. Minnesota, San Frisco, and Philly are in that convo if we include TEs... But if we are considering TEs, Engram pushes Jags receivers over the top.

I think Lawrence is gonna boom this year too, but he's got to prove it before he can be ranked where you have him. Your point about Herbert doing it in his rookie season is bang on, very rarely do QBs have their career season in their rookie year - and when you look at the change in OC, Herbert's improved health coming off the rib cartilage injury, drafting of a WR in the 1st round, and how much time Keenan Allen and Mike Williams missed last year - all of those factors indicate Herbert is going to have a big year. Trevor running hot for half a season isn't enough to solidify him where you're ranking him IMO, and not ahead of Herbert who has already had a very impressive season, in his rookie year no less.

Agree.
Fields isnt bad QB.
Just no weapons around him.

Also most of his successful passes seem to be when the plays breaks down in the pocket and he has to leave.
Which only indicates he has good eyes down the field while on the move.
