Does the winner of this game (Dallas) have to play a playoff game on short rest?

This shouldn't be a thing.

Dallas plays next sunday night even though they played tonight.

Maximizing profits all that matters so they scheduled it on Monday. Who cares about fairness?

Yeah.

So SF played the first game of playoffs and gets extra rest.

Dallas plays the last game and gets a short week. This game needs to be moved to Monday night

All about the benjamins, always has been.
Added an extra week, even though player safety is their top priority.

I’m not all that worried about fairness though seeing as teams play on Monday then Sunday throughout the season.

I think they do need to change the way seeding happens if there is a team such as Tampa thats not even a winning team. A team with a better record doesn’t deserve to play on the road just because the other team won their division which clearly wasn’t very difficult in the first place!

Every teams plays a Monday then Sunday once per season. Dallas and San Fran already did that. Dallas has to do it again in the playoffs. Just doesn't make much sense for a league that preaches competitive fairness

Not sure who else to blame but the NFL. With it being the first week of the playoffs, you really only have a couple of options.

In the future they could push the playoffs back a week but I think 2 weeks off for a 1st rd bye would be way too long.

The only other option is to play an early game but this all comes back to money and the NFL doesn’t make enough money to plan all of this out ahead of time!

There was an easy solution.

They played three games on Saturday but only two on Sunday. All games should be played on Saturday and Sunday. Screw this Monday shit
