You’re the fish that just hops in the boat huh
Just can't stand when people act like Vick was a good QB, when in reality he was one of the worst passers in the league for most of his career. He was a RB playing QB, his IQ of the game was not existent. He literally relied on his athleticism as a runner and that's it. He was notorious for not studying and not watching game film, he openly admitted that to the media. He couldn't read a defense to save his life. He even said himself he'd probably haver a ring if he had actually studied.
Funniest part is Vick had his best season as a passer AFTER his prison sentence when he was with the Eagles, in 2010. That was far and away the best season of his career in 12 starts. Maybe because the league didn't have recent film on him, or maybe because he was hungry and actually studied game film for once? Idk, but he crashed back to earth in the seasons to follow and looked like himself again after that.
Hurts is still developing, but from what we've seen so far this season he has taken some nice strides in the passing department. Especially his ability to pass on the run. This is the first time since high school that he's had the same play caller for consecutive seasons, so one would assume he's getting comfortable finally and last nights great performance was a great sign.
