Tom Brady and Fox Sports have agreed to a deal that will make the seven-time Super Bowl champion the network’s lead NFL analyst following his retirement, Fox announced on Tuesday morning.

The quarterback’s new contract with the network will reportedly be the most lucrative in sports television in history.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Brady has agreed to a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, earning him an average of $37.5 million annually.

Brady’s new deal more than double the contracts of CBS Sports’s Tony Romo and ESPN’s Troy Aikman, who previously set the bar among NFL analysts. The two former quarterbacks earn $18 million average annual salaries at their respective networks.

Although Brady will earn a massive paycheck when he decides to hang up his cleats for good, it remains unclear when that day will come. The 44-year-old briefly retired following the 2021 season but announced his return to Tampa in March. He will enter his 23rd NFL season this fall.

Fox executive chair and CEO Lachlan Murdoch said it’s “entirely up to” Brady when he decides to permanently retire from football and join Fox. The quarterback himself made clear on Twitter that his primary focus for the 2022 season remains on the field with the Buccaneers.

Guy is going to go from playing football for 20 years in the NFL to talking about football for another 10+ years and making absolutely insane money each year doing it.

I mean, unless he gets addicted to some expensive things or really poorly invest his money, he'll be just fine financially.

Love him or hate him, he deserves it. Way to leverage your marketability and get that stacks.

His kids will be fine, their kids will be fine, their kids after that will be fine.

For many years down the road, nobody in his family will ever need to worry about money lol. Not bad for a 7th round pick.

Bradshaw doesn't call games bro....stick to d2 or something.

Brady will be calling games along play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. There is no replacing Bradshaw in a role that he was not even in lmao.
