Although I don't post here much, I do still plan on making the SB auction threads starting Aug 5, assuming everyone is still OK with that.

Probably same rules, payouts, and mediator as last year, since I thought it all went well (once the phrasing was clarified). That said, use this thread to offer suggestions if you want.

Last year's thread: http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=77035380&f=204&p=521732072

Auction schedule will be made later.

I think everyone’s biggest problem with the last one is that you dictated who could/could not enter, as if your opinion is valuable or something ludicrous like that. It essentially became insider trading with you ushering your buddies into favorable positions to funnel fg into their accounts.

Also like 5 ppl pooled together to buy the pats, which should be illegal if you foolishly decide to run this again

Whichever one of his buddies had the most fg at the time decided which day he started the auction

Bottom of OP says "auction schedule will be made later"
He is making a schedule for when each team will be for sale, I don't see the problem here?
Keep hiding little guy.

It was pretty objective who could and could not enter. If you broke the rules, then the rules disqualified you, not me. To anyone confused with the rules, I would suggest reviewing the rules to prevent any issues with future bidding and/or pm'ing me for clarification.

I don't have a problem with one person bidding with pooled fg. Ultimately, that is an agreement between the people pooling fg and the bidder. The bidder is not breaking any rules.

I generally went by Vegas odds to win the SB, backloading the schedule with "better" teams.

But I also tried to be mindful of general popularity and odds to win the #1 pick.

Generally I put middling .500 teams to start--the ones no one wants to own.

So you should start with the Ravens this year?
