I know the spirit of these rants is to usually open up and be able to bash your own team but being who I am and after that game last night I simply can't do that. So far this year we've seen some really shitty football around the league so being able to watch last nights game was a pretty nice change of pace. We had a chance to watch 2 of the best QB's in the NFL play in one of the most legendary stadiums in a great game that had ups and downs for both teams. Even though the Patriots lost I don't think any true fans are that disappointed. Brady had a good game and Lafell has been really stepping up for us lately, and aside from that 1 reception at the end of the half which was arguably a push off Revis continued to show why he's the best CB in the NFL. It really shows you how talented GB is when it's clear that our gameplan was to shut down Jordy and Cobb (which we didn't do too bad at) and you're still able to beat us using some rookie from Fresno State. That just shows how talented of a football team GB is.
We knew going into the week with Chandler Jones still out exactly what was going to happen, Rodgers was going to have all day to throw and if you give the best QB in the NFL right now all day he's going to kill you, and that's exactly what he did. No team in the NFL is going to go into GB without a pass rush and beat them, it's not happening. Rodgers doesn't turn the ball over and they finally have a strong enough O-line with a tough back so they win the TOP game too. McCarthy had a solid gameplan and it showed with GB having the ball for 13 more minutes than NE.
It's impossible for me to come up with any excuses for this loss, we simple got outplayed in almost every aspect of the game. One positive thing we can take away from this game is how great our redzone D looked, I don't think they scored a TD from the redzone all day long even though it seemed like they were in it for a majority of the game. All that being said I think it was a great game to watch no matter which team you were rooting for and I fully expect this to be the SB matchup. Oh and anyone that doesn't think Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL RIGHT NOW they're crazy. He's hands down #1 and it shouldn't be debated. Goodluck to the rest of the NFC because you're not winning at Lambeu and that's where the road to the bowl is gonna be.

Oh find me another coach that goes for it on 4th and 3 down 5 points with 6 minutes left in the game on his own 40 vs Godgers.
