I’m really not sure why we even have an offseason at all. Most teams try to address issues with their team after the season ends. Changing schemes, personnel, play-calling, drafting and signing free agents among other things. This is not how things are done lately in Green Bay. This was made very evident tonight. Most fans thought (including myself) that simply having a healthy team would answer most of the problems we had last season, but that could not be farther from the truth. Even a healthy roster that can’t tackle is still prone to getting exploited.

Every facet of our team looked like shit. Absolutely every part of our game. Our normally powerful offense was stagnated. Our typically opportunistic defense was unable to generate big plays when we needed them most. Our coverage unit gave them amazing field position after our many punts. It was just so fucking hard to watch it go down just like last year. I swear to god it was like watching another game from last season. Week 18 in September, essentially.

I have never seen more missed tackles and half-assed attempts in my entire life. Ball-carriers looked like they were in a goddamn pinball machine: they were bouncing off of everyone! Defense could not make a play at all. It was borderline unbearable watching nearly every 3rd down get converted it felt. Even when the Dline somehow made it into the backfield and met Lynch straight-up, they still couldn’t take him down. So many terrible angles and poor positioning the entire night.

This rant could easily go on forever it seems, but the bottom line is this: That is the defining characteristic of a championship team… they take control of games and make worthy opponents look like a DIII college team. I, like most Packer fans, harbor a deep resentment for the Seahawks but after getting ravaged/desecrated/manhandled/#rekt like that, you really have to respekt them for playing with such prowess and dominance. They are a much more balanced, intuitive and dominant team than the Packers and I don’t feel as bad knowing we got our asses handed to us by the best, the defending Champs.

I'm satisfied.
Saved for sure.

Maybe we can do more bets throughout the season.
Like Hawks score more than the Slackers...or their D puts up more points etc... :P

Can you honestly say they got their asses whooped tonight or not?
