The Oakland Raiders have already selected Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson.

Every day I will create a poll for everyone to vote on each pick from round 1 (and then the Redskins and Colts picks in round 2) and we might squeeze in all of round 2 too.

There will be no "other" option in the poll and I'll try to always have 10 options but only if they make sense. I feel confident enough in myself to have reasonable options up for every selection and other just creates unnecessary spam so feel free to bitch your heart out about player A not being an option. :)

Why? They signed Kevin Boothe and they only needed one guard. They can wait and draft one later to fill something they need like a young QB, DT, ILB or S.

Lucas Nix is the worst player on our team, and Lamar Mady isn't close to starting.

ILB/TE are not needs. QB is, S/CB still are good to have, DT wouldn't hurt either, and G would be a solid choice as well.

I think there's an obvious choice at this spot, and it's on the list.

Yeah, if we only get to choose from this list, Carr is the obvious answer. But I'd prefer Xavier.

Well my sincerest of apologies, I was unaware he was that bad.

How exactly is ILB not a need? Unless I missed a signing, please tell me you don't think Roach is worth a damn?

I think even with Xavier on the list Carr is the best pick. We need an answer for QB in the future.

I guess it depends on how the administration feels about the next few draft classes of QBs. If we think there's a winner next year or the year after, we could justify not taking a QB here. Otherwise, Carr is a great pickup. He was considered a top pick earlier on in the draft analysis process, and I think grabbing someone like that in the 2nd round when your team has a big need for a future QB is a steal.

Roach played well. How much of the Raiders did you watch?

All good. I realize you're not bound to know these teams as well as the actual fans of them lol. But Roach was really solid last year.

I watched a full 3 games and saw pieces of others and he looked average at best to me but like you said Benny, hard to know them all perfectly.
