Hoquiam homicide victim identified
An autopsy was performed this afternoon on the stabbing victim and he has been identified as 22 year old Jonathan Favro of Aberdeen. Favro died of multiple stab wounds in the homicide that occurred early Saturday.
According to Hoquiam Police, a 16 year old Hoquiam boy was charged with stabbing Favro at a nearby apartment complex. Favro then got into his 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt before hitting a rock embankment. Officers found a knife and sheath near the car and discovered the 22 year old’s body in a yard.
The mother of the 16 year old suspect told Hoquiam and Aberdeen Officers that she had received a call from her son saying he was “going to do something terrible”. When officers found the 16 year old Hoquiam boy, he admitted to stabbing Favro.
Hoquiam Police are investigating the death.
