When your TE is the leading receiver on the team and you just paid Aiyuk all that money, you're bound to fail.
CMC makes a difference for sure but Mason has been fine in his absence outside of the pass catching game.

Purdy has and always will be a game manager in a system that breeds game manager QBs.
They haven't had to pay a QB since Garropolo in 2018, they are doomed if they have to pay Purdy.

Aiyuk has only had >50 yds one time this year and has ZERO tds.
It's basically just Kittle out there making plays.
