The USFL will have chips implanted in their footballs that can determine if the ball has reached the first-down marker. The technology is cool, but it isn’t as new as it seems. According to Pro Football Talk, the NFL already has chips in its footballs that are used for Next Gen Stats and tracking data.

I love Wrestling, Just wanna see my boys win the belt once before I die. Don't forget Wrestlers get injured too.

Watch all those before you comment. People really do think that its hard for over 60+ people to put on a show every night when broadway does it constantly. and not everyone's gotta know when everythings a hold.

Every game bet whether its NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, etc there's a good chance the public leaning loses

If there's a game where the underdog has +500 on the moneyline, and the majority of the public is betting on the favorite to win on the moneyline or with the spread, most of the time the underdog will cover the spread but the favorite wins

In the case where the favorite has too much money on them, the underdog tends to win

Or in the case where the game is more or less a coin flip, wherever the money goes typically that side will lose

It isn't fool proof because Vegas allows the squares to win occasionally, they have to give the gambling addicts a few dopamine hits to strengthen the illusion

In example, following the gambling action on the Pistons vs Bucks game that happened recently, the majority of the public's money was on Bucks to cover 12.5 pts. The Bucks won by 2 so Vegas won all the money on the Bucks spread while also avoiding paying out any juice to the people that bet on Pistons moneyline. This is the dream scenario for Vegas which plays out frequently

Damn that's wild
Maybe they just have an algorithm that let's em know the future
I feel like that would be easier than micromanaging outcomes of complex sports

For the ones that think its rigged, what are there thoughts on bad injuries we see that are obvious injuries?

Most the "Rigged" talk i have seen in the past are from ones that bet/gamble and often are on the losing side.

Injuries are an uncontrollable factor, that still leaves room for manipulation of the outcomes. They don’t need to win the maximum amount every game… they just need to consistently win over the public which is easily verified

They definitely have models to forecast outcomes, that doesn’t mean they don’t micromanage the hell out of all incoming bets. Lines shift all the time, they update live action bets hundreds of times for a single game. You’re kidding yourself if you think they don’t micromanage

There is now way too much money wagered on NFL games for there not to be sever pressure for fixed outcomes.

With that being said I still continue to naively believe it’s not rigged.

NFL it is a “Entertainment Business” not a “Sports Business” just like WWE. They Can legally Rig games if they want....so why wouldn't they?

and Like I said. Wrestlers get injured as well...actors get injured...Choreographers get injured... You can't predict injuries... but "bounty hunting" could be a thing too as mentioned in above link.

and not every single player has to know, how many bogus flags, times refs decided games, etc. People say mannnn 60+ couldn't be acting...lol why not? when you're getting the fattest pay of your life even on lesser contracts and signing NDA's.

Also if there are chips already in the football letting us know when a first down is made...why are we still using the chains? lol you really think they're just gonna stop at just analytics as well? why not use more tech to insure a missed fg.

also, I cant find the commercial the NFL constantly play about with the "HELP of AI we can make the most competitive football schedule" but there's this pretty much stating the same thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaVwY3ptryw

With the help of AI running analytics a million times over, That alone is telling me you have a pretty good shot at putting/influencing who you want in the playoffs/superbowl.....

lol I go back and forth all the time, I mean just last week I'm screaming FIRE DORSEY! FIRE DORSEY. the goal is to make the league look as believable as possible or no one would watch or bet on it.

I personally wouldn't care if it is scripted, it's not like WE know who's gonna win the belt, so its still fun.
