I haven't done fantasy football in years. I've been invited to take over a team for somebody that dropped out. There are 2 teams available.

Here are some details:

The draft is 3 rounds for any player not on a roster. After the draft, you must drop players until you only have 18 roster spots filled. Any players dropped will be added to week 1 waivers

Dudders already has an empty spot, and Tom Brady's retirement adds another one

Mr Worldwide has traded away their first round pick this year

I'm not up to date on which players are still good. Obviously I know mahomes is good and Jonathan Taylor is still looking for a team.

Any recommendations or tips, which team to select?

Can you explain these more? Kind of confused by them. What's the 3 rounds thing? a 7th rd player now becomes a 4th rounder?

18 roster spots, 3 have to be dropped? So there's 21 players total before dropping 3?

No first round pick is brutal in a dynasty, especially if ANY player can be kept. Any chance of knowing what pick Dudders has? Can be a huge difference from early pick vs late pick. Guys like Bijan & Gibbs have monster value

Also if the scoring isn't standard make sure to let us know. (Standard is 4pt pass td, 6pt rush/rec yd, 25pass yd=1pt, 10 rush/rec yds=1pt, reception=0.5pt)

I believe you keep the entire roster, but there are only 3 rounds of drafts.

Yes 18 total so if you draft 3, you have to drop 3 of your current 18 man roster.

As far as picking position, it's lottery and lottery isn't done yet. But dudders was last so he gets 10 lottery balls. 10 teams, 1st place gets 1 lottery ball etc.

Scoring 6pt passing td, and no ppr. Other scoring is standard. We vote on any potential rule changes at the draft.

but yeah world wide is better even with out a 1st rounder and its not even close

Yes I assume so. Draft 3, but if all current players are better then don't keep any drafted players. 18 max.
