RB, even though devalued as a position, is my favorite role in an offense. So, I figured I'd post some senior season highlight reels of some of the top guys selected this year, and maybe say a thing or two opinion-wise about each back.

We'll start with Bijan Robinson.



After watching Bijan at UT, the best way I can describe his running style is SILKY. His moves look so effortless and ends up making one defender after another look silly until he's in the open field and long gone for a TD.

Jahmyr Gibbs up next.


Gibbs is a fantastic pass-catching RB, as evidenced by his leading receiver role for Alabama last year. He's faster than most Alabama RBs in recent memory, but as usual, it's hard to tell just how good he is, since Alabama's OL consistently makes it so RBs don't have to worry about any defenders touching them until they're 10 yards downfield already.

And now, a guy that probably should have gone in the first round, Zach Charbonnet.



The Seahawks hit a home run with this one. Charbonnet is SO. DAMN. SHIFTY. His lateral movement is fantastic, especially at 6 ft tall on a 215 lb frame.

I genuinely think this may be one of the better steals of the draft.

Thoughts on RB Chase Brown?

What I notice is that he gets north and south as quickly as possible, which works well because his straight line speed is great.

He gets slowed down A LOT on contact and isn't all that elusive, but I think he'll take over 2nd string from Williams because he's a threat to catch the ball out of the backfield.
