Hockey experts - with multiple games being played on the same ice everyday reports are that by the 3rd game the ice gets pretty choppy.

There are no fans so less heat and humidity this5is worth factoring in. But with regards to chippy ice, does this have more of an impact on the over or under?

Initially I would think under, but choppy ice resulting in a poor pass that leads to a breakaway goal would benefit the over.

What do you think? Is it something or just nothing?

No worse than playing in 50% of the leagues buildings for their entire regular season best case ice conditions ( anahiem / dallas etc )

Playing in Edmonton does affect the game. Everything is just a bit shittier. Ice, food, hockey, weather, beer... everything just sucks a bit more than usual.

I don’t think it affects the over/under too much personally. Some cities have terrible ice during the regular season anyways. The only thing affecting over/under right now is the players being rusty leading to more or less goals depending on who is feeling the rust. But with a couple games under their belt now, I imagine the sloppy play willl start to decline.

It's true, players in the bubble gotta suffer from a/c problems, slow internet, etc.

Game 1 against the wild there was literally a brief blackout DURING the game rofl, the ice was shitty but the wild was also on the same ice suffering the same.
