Florida became a worse team after Gallant was fired and he overachieved with the Vegas team he had.

This is just shit management.

The only way this will be justified is if some sort of personal scandal about him comes to light explaining why he was fired.

Vegas is confident in their team to let go of gallant, so that he can solely focus on the pacific all star team. Then after another team loses to Buffalo Sabres, they can fire their current coach and hire gallant. I believe 3 coaches got fired so far after losing to the Sabres this season
