Most games played before FIRST nhl goal.

I wanna know if Victor Mete is closing in on that accomplishment.

I surprisingly can’t find anything about it

Edit/. So far the best ive got is Steven Halko with 155 and no goal (not playing anymore)

Adam Pardy went ~ 200 games without scoring a goal to end his career.

Not sure how many it took him to first score though.

looks like Ken Daneyko has the record at 255 games between goals

Gord Strate played 61 nhl games in the 50's and never recorded a single point. He also played 68 AHL games and only recorded 3 assists.

Dont know if thats the record for goals, but playing 129 professional games and never scoring a goal is pretty tough.

Interesting thread I must say.

Surprised on ken Daneyko.

Looked up his stats.

36 goals in 1283 games.

Pure shutdown guy. I remember him being on those NJ cup teams just did not realize he scored so few haha.
