Anyone else have those few guys you play fantasy hockey with who bitch and moan about every trade being one-sided

Curious as well, i often play in a league with my dad every year (we just make an effort to get into the same public league) and we are avid traders, always looking for cool trades to make with each other or other teams, this year i have a lowballer in my league. Offers avsolute garbage trades to me every week, and then declines all the fair counter offers, and will counter with the exact same offer he sent me before my counter lol

So it's a keeper league where any players you keep you are penalized the pick 1 round higher than they were drafted. Free agents act as a last round pick.
I added Lindholm and Chabot at the beginning of the season, and Hart when he got called up.
So all 3 are last round picks
I traded them to a last place guy for Simmonds (5), Stone (9), Petry (FA), Holtby (2)

I'm in 5th place and the few guys complaining are 1/3/7th place (Mad that I made my team better for playoffs)

The guy I traded had said he needed keepers, got flooded with offers and picked mine as best


Like I can see why it looks like I fleeced em kinda if you say stone = Lindholm, Chabot = Petry, Holtby > Hart and free simmonds
But to be keeping lindholm/chabot as last round picks is unreal for next year

yea thats not bad lol. wouldnt even say thats fleecing. if the dude is in last place and has no chance its fair game.
my keeper is the same format as yours, people every year trade out picks and keepers for guys that cant/shouldnt be kept

if i was last i wouldve traded 2 or 3 of those players for lindholm alone, pending on my keepers ofc

Possibly should be noted you can keep a player max 3 seasons, each season the pick is higher
But yeah still I thought it was a good trade

I laugh every time a fair trade happens and the same guy or 2 complains
