I dont know how to do spreads n shit. Just straight up betting on a game is all i can comprehend currently. Lol a lot in the community do know me, so not too worried. Just adds a tiny but of fun to the game.
Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. For sports like hockey and baseball it's pretty much -1xx or +1xx.
If it's the favorite (team expected to win) then the line will -1xx/-2xx. That means you would have to bet whatever the number is to win 100. Example: -150 means you have to risk 150 to win 100.
If it's the underdog (team not expected to win) the. The line will be +1xx/2xx. That means if you bet 100 you would win whatever the +### is. Example: +150 means you would win 150 for every 100 you risk.
If you're betting with another user, the spreads will be more favorable.
If you're using a bookie (terps/24k) they're spreads include juice. Which is like a bookie tax. Their spreads are typically less favorable, but you can qlmost always get a bet, where you might not be able to find one with a user.
Example: last night i wanted to bet on the Ducks. Line was ducks -149. I offered 1.5:1 (150:100) but couldnt find a user bet. The bookie was offering -200. I wasn't willing to risk the extra 50 so i didn't end up betting.
If you have any other questions, you can ask almost anyone. Everyone here is helpful for the most part.
