Game Rules:


This is for who you think will win the Stanley Cup Final between Pittsburgh Penguins & San Jose Sharks



You can bet as much as you want. If the team you picked wins the game, you are guaranteed a profit. The amount of that profit depends on how much fg is placed on each team.

The amount placed on each team will create the odds for the game

Example:

If there is a total of 1500fg placed on Team A, and 1000fg placed on Team B than the odds will be 1.5:1 with Team A being the favorite.

This means that you will receive 1.5:1 odds for the team that you bet on.

If you bet 100 on Team A, you would win a total of 166fg. 66fg profit plus your original 100.

If you bet 100 on Team B, you would win a total of 250fg. 150fg profit plus your original 100.



Sending Rules:

Send your fg and pick in advance to me.

You MUST place the team that you picked in the comment field. I can not stress this enough. I do not care who your favorite team is, or who you have in your sig/ava

This is to avoid any controversy. I clean out my pm box around a half dozen times per day. I can not keep your pick, so this will show record of it.

DO NOT MAKE YOUR COMMENT MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT NEEDS TO BE

All I need to know is your pick. Be clear. None of this asterisk crap. AKA: Comment like the image below... Blind Pot: Team Name!


Also, do not send decimal amounts, or any donations towards the pot

If you are on ANY welchers list, you are not allowed to take part in this game. Paid back or not. If you think you may be an exception to this rule, PM me first. I may let a select few in.

Thread Rules:

Do not spam this thread. I pay for all of these topics myself. Do not make me pay for more than I have to.

Feel free to bump the thread at reasonable times, and to post that you sent fg into the pot.

Any unnecessary spam however can and will result in a disqualification.


Example:

If you post in this thread asking for picks when the game started, this will be spam.

I'm usually very good when it comes to posting the picks, so if they're not up, I'm probably afk. You spamming will not change that.



Anybody breaking any of the aforementioned rules will be disqualified from the game and may lose privileges for playing in future games.

All non-welcher users with a join date before 05/26/2016 will be allowed to participate in this game.

/e I haven't received anything yet and have sent my own bet to Pens so as to confirm I didn't look at odds before any responses were sent in.

myself i see it as positive thing if new spawns come and use fg in hockey forum, cus we rarely find fresh ppl.

Gist is to keep multi-scammers from participating. Very unlikely that there's a new jsp hockey user seeing as it's a gaming site, and "hockey forum" ranks 200+ on a google search.
So someone who suddenly joins convenienly when their team is in finals is not likely to be someone who regulars jsp and/or follows the team regularly whilst having an interest in gaming.
